Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day:







This was a fun day for Elleigh at school and I got to come and help with her Valentines party at school! It turned out to be a very enlightening experience. I learned from another mom that Elleigh and her son were engaged and that she had many love notes from my daughter saved at her house. Her cute son told her that he knows that the daddy is usually taller than the mommy but this time the mommy was going to be taller (since Elleigh is a head taller than him) but he thinks it's ok. This little Taylor is a very cute boy so Elleigh does have good taste. And it's probably good that she isn't bothered by the social stigma where men "need" to be taller. It was hilarious!!
All around a good day but my heart was a little heavy to be without my husband. We don't really make a huge deal about Valentine's Day but we are always together and we do something simple that means a lot. So to have him gone was very hard. There were quite a few tears shed that night. I am glad that it's over.
