Beauty is painful
Getting ready for Easter! Elleigh thought it was really funny that she could put the towel on her head like mommy does! She has also decided that curly hair is better right now than straight so she is obsessed with curlers. Of course she has hair like her mom that won't curl with anything else but the old 80's sponge curlers. I must say that both of the girls are very good at keeping their curlers in at night and they don't even wake up a lot. They know that beauty is painful sometimes! However, curlers all night equal incredibly bouncy Shirley Temple hair. It doesn't seem to calm down until late that night after everything is over. Oh well. They looked perfect right before bed Sunday night! We also spent all Saturday night painting nails just the right color of pink to match our dresses! Lots of good girl fun with my beautiful daughters!

WOW!!! I hated sleeping in those when my mom would make me. I was surprised to see that you have those curls for your girls. And even more surprised that they were ok with them in their hair. But boy do they look cute when its all said and done.
My girls can feel their pain. Saige thought the curlers were fun until she tried to lay down on her pillow. So Elle told her to lay on her pillow and not move. That's what big sisters are for, to help teach you the right way to sleep in curlers.Millissa
I like the new posts! Keep them coming!
Sophie is getting SO big!! I can't believe it! Darling hair!!!
All I have to say to that one is ...AMEN! :) This topic is definitely not one I have thought of before. Beauty is painful! I guess that's why I don't deal much with it. :)
I totally remember those curlers, and wish I still had them today. (The only way my hair will stay curled all day long. Even though they make my hair much more curlier than I ever anticipate or wish for.) :)
beauty is pain! I love it! Thats it, I'm buying those darn curlers and putting them in Colbys hair!
